COMMON GROUND is rooted in various disciplines, bringing a shared artistic field into focus. The exhibition emphasizes the artistic exploration of spatiality and materials. The selected works showcase architects engaging with objects, as well as artists, artisans, and designers drawing inspiration from architecture, landscapes, and spatial concepts—unfolded through color, grids, construction, composition, and balance.
The exhibition seeks to expose a shared root system where disciplines and practitioners draw nourishment and inspiration from an interdisciplinary artistic space. The level of abstraction, whether simple or complex, opens the works to interpretation, makes the disciplines accessible to one another, and fosters mutual inspiration.
The exhibition highlights the breadth of practices and expressions—from exquisitely refined craftsmanship to raw and hands-on material exploration. From light and airy to robust and heavy. From works that capture light to those that illuminate the dark. From small objects to large, space-defining furniture. These are works that enrich and contrast with one another, spanning materials from ceramics and textiles to wood, paper, and brass.
