Sound-absorbing light screens, indirect light reflections, and luminous flowers swaying in the breeze—lys_objekt is an exhibition rich in subtle effects, centered around light, materiality, and a wide range of artistic approaches.

Galleri Superobjekt has invited six designers, architects, and artists to participate, exploring LED technology, traditional light sources, various materials, and diverse formats. There are no restrictions on form—works range from lamps and sculptures to optical materials and objects that defy conventional categorization. All light objects have been developed in dialogue with Louis Poulsen Lighting, a renowned lighting manufacturer.

The participating artists bring unique professional backgrounds. Amanda Betz is an architect who has designed lamps for Le Klint and exhibited extensively. Violise Lunn is a fashion designer and paper artist. Ane Lykke is working at the intersection of light and architecture. Cecilie Bendixen  specializing in sound-absorbing constructions. Christian Flindt focused on furniture and industrial design. Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt, works with lighting and furniture.

The exhibition presents a fresh and unconventional exploration of light’s properties and the interplay between materials and illumination.
